Health and Safety

GBM UK recognise that Health and Safety at work is the primary responsibility of our company, and therefore it is the intention of the company to meet the statutory obligations and to do everything possible to prevent injury and maintain a safe environment at work. As employers, we are responsible for the Health, Safety and Welfare of our employees and people affected by our activities, which is recognised within our Health and Safety policy.

This names the Managing Director as the person appointed responsible for the implementation of Health and Safety with regard to the companies undertakings, such as safe demolition & the safe removal of asbestos.

It is recognised to deliver this a team effort is required. To assist in co-ordinating this, GBM UK employ a full-time Health and Safety Advisor, whose role is enhanced by the companies membership of The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, the British Safety Council and the North Lincolnshire Safety Group, providing access to the latest information and back up.

Our most recent accreditation being Safe Contractor, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practice amongst UK contractors.

All GBM Plant is available with CITB Certified operators and is hired out under CPA conditions. So whether you are looking to hire a specific machine for one day or a large fleet for the long-term you can rest assured that we can have your needs covered from small jobs through to the largest of contracts.
