We have used GBM on numerous occasions and on all occasions their experience and professionalism is to be commended. In particular, their approach to Health and Safety issues was exceptional.
Much of the demolition works carried out for us have been difficult and challenging particularly works on MOD contracts. GBM were employed on various contracts at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire, including the demolition of the original Air Traffic Control Tower. This was difficult in that the building had suffered from severe settlement and also had large amounts of asbestos present. The tower was also adjacent to the busy runway so controlled demolition was essential.
The works were completed with the complete satisfaction of ourselves, the project management team and RAF personnel.
Further works completed at Coningsby include the strip out and demolition of hardened shelters, again with the complete satisfaction of all parties involved. Further works are planned on site and GBM carry preferred contractor status on our bids for this work.
I would have no hesitation in using GBM again or indeed recommending them to others.
