GBM Meets the Standards
Following on from achievement of ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2007, GBM Demolition have further progressed their integrated management system to BS EN 14001 and OHSAS 18001, meeting the company's values and business objectives.
It is GBM's mission to be acknowledged as one of the demolition leaders amongst the public and private sector business communities, as they constantly strive to improve their processes and systems.
Simon Grantham (Managing Director) said ' we have always been extremely proud of the service we offer our clients and the way we conduct our business. With BS EN 14001 and OHSAS 18001 under our belts we can continue to maintain the highest of standards of our working practices.'
The overall aim of the BS EN ISO 14001:2004 International Standard is to support environmental protection and prevention of pollution in balance with socio-economic needs.
OHSAS 18001 specifies requirements for a Health & Safety Management System, to enable an organisation to control its Health & Safety risks and improve its performance.
GBM Demolition were awarded with certification for both standards on Friday 23rd October 2009
