When asked for a contract reference by GBM Demolition I had no hesitation in obliging. Since initially working on a complex project in Slough City Centre in 2005, Barr Construction and GBM have developed a professional working relationship.

At present we are employing the services of GBM to undertake a demolition scheme which has been far from straightforward to say the least. From the outset, issues such as Asbestos Contamination to roosting bats through to Facade retention have plagued the contract. Fortunately, the working partnership between the two companies has enabled us as a team to develop a method for dealing with the problems as they arrived and most importantly allowed the project to stay on programme.

As with any major contractor the performance in relationship to productivity is second to that of Health and Safety; as a proactive and modern thinking Company, I must commend GBM on their approach to safety culture, emanating from Management down to Site level.
